KOOMPI Onelab
How does it work?
KOOMPI Onelab is a computer laboratory with hardware and software solution that enables teachers and administrators to facilitate and monitor student`s progress in real time. There are three main components that makes the labs functional: hardware, content server, and internet connection.
The labs are powered by a content server that runs independently, meaning information is stored in an offline cache and gets updated when connected to the internet (KOOMPI Fi-Fi).
Who is it for?
School
Schools can easily invest in Workstations due to its affordability and utilization of essential tools instead of propriety services.
Company
All Onelabs are connected to one central machine hosting a samba server database, making a convenient management system.
Organization
Organizations, especially non-profits, can benefit from efficient management system without breaking budget.
Components
Work Station
The three main components of a workstation are: hardware, content server, and internet connection. All Workstations are connected to one central machine hosting a samba server database, making a convenient management system.
Local Content Service
The purpose of the Content Server is to update, synchronize, and pre-store web content for local browsing independently of an Internet connection, providing greater network speed and stability during Internet downtime.

Network
The service depends minimally on network connectivity to keep the operation running smoothly. We build our network infrastructure based on the internet cache protocol to store the content locally with the Content Server. IPFS technology takes storing and sharing data to the next level. Updates occur when Internet connections are available, and as prevailing connection speeds allow.
